How to handle a telemarketer

MalJan is sent off to spend the day at Real Promotions Marketing Agency as a telemarketer where he is expected to sell an ADSL package to random people through means of a convincing phone call. Having been briefed earlier in the day about how to handle disgruntled callers and having received a script to guide him through various questions that may be thrown his way, MalJan felt confident about the task that lay before him.
The team even incorporated him into their morning 'war cry' ritual to get him amped to sell, sell, sell!
Little did he know that not even crying over the phone would guarantee him enough time to be heard, let alone get the 'yes' he was instructed to before the end of the day...
