The graphic footage shows how community members sliced the large serpent open, revealing the body of a man. The snake weighed 158 kilograms, almost four times the body weight of its victim.
Neighbours reported cries from a palm grove the night Mr Salubiro went missing, but it wasn’t until the next day when their fears were confirmed. The man went missing in a remote Indonesian village on the island of West Sulawesi on Sunday night.
