Woman barely escapes getting struck by a train

There is a reason your parents taught you to always look both ways before crossing especially if it is a train track.
A pedestrian in New Zealand had a very close call when she came inches away from being struck by a train.
In the clip, several people can be seen crossing the tracks as the warning lights flash in the corner of the video.
The woman in a purple jacket strolls through the train tracks and all of a sudden she speeds up to avoid getting hit and escapes without injury.
