Cape Town shook by lightning
Updated | By Carla Mackenzie
Thunder and lightning had our neighbours in Cape Town a little shook.

Lightning and thunder may be the norm for us in Gauteng, but it's a somewhat rare occurrence in the Mother City.
Capetonians took to Twitter in their numbers to share their surprise about the sudden change in weather in the coastal city.
The city is gripped in a devastating drought with less than 100 days of usable water left.
These tweets are everything though!
