First Zapiro, now Ayanda Mabulu again
Updated | By The Late Show
Controversial artist Ayanda Mabulu has shocked the nation with a graphic painting of president Jacob Zuma and the late former president Nelson Mandela.

Once you’ve seen it, you won’t be able to unsee it that’s for sure.
The artwork can be found online, but be warned it is NOT for sensitive viewers.
It shows an unclothed Zuma and Madiba in a compromising position as political commentary.
South Africans are divided on their views of Mabulu's latest work. Most are naturally outraged.

That Ayanda Mabulu painting is one thing: violence. Rape, as has been pointed out many times before, is NOT a metaphor. It's not art.

Ayanda Mabulu must've had a rough upbringing which involved too much disrespect & sexual misconduct. He's now taking his traumas out on SA😠😠

I feel sorry for Ayanda Mabulu cos I feel he's so desperate to create a Spear-type furore to raise the price of his work + it never happens

Ayanda Mabulu hates being upstaged... when he saw the Zapiro rape cartoon he felt outdone so he went all out...
