SA Politician Awards: Who deserves a vote?
The SA Politician Awards is officially a
thing and the nominees include the SABC’s Hlaudi Motsoeneng and President Jacob
Zuma.
Sure politicians enjoy great perks, including a R246million upgrade to one’s private homestead, speeding around in a blue light brigade, but we’re certain it must be an incredibly tough job.
Event organisers say the awards is intended to remedy the country’s political challenges and boy does our political landscape need a whole lot of remedying.
Motsoeneng has been nominated in the category of Citizen’s Choice Award, while Zuma is in the running for claiming bragging rights to the title SA Politician of the Year.
Organisers say to win Politician of the Year, the nominee must have demonstrated the biggest contribution to the political process in the country throughout the year.
