South African artist makes colourful mark on Nike HQ in New York

Nardstar* is a South African
artist who is making waves internationally.

The South African artist is one of 18 who have placed their stamp on Nike HQ’s newest building in New York!
She painted a striking mural on the new building.

She says: "Sticking with my commitment to portraying strong black women, I painted this portrait of WNBA player, the amazing Lisa Leslie."

International artists such as Stash, SP One, CHINO BYI, FAUST, Grotesk, Felipe Pantone, GOREY, DAIM, Tones One, Gary Stranger, Yoon Hyup, SPETO, Claw Money, Nardstar*, Paola Delfin, Hueman and Ashley Montague representing 20 countries across the globe were also part of the exciting project.
