‘Sy Klink Soos Lente’ opens in cinemas today
Bouwer Bosch says the title song and the name of the new Afrikaans romantic comedy in which he features was inspired by the main character Ben (Stiaan Smith).
In the film ‘Sy Klink Soos Lente’, Ben, a mechanic meets a
charming girl, Linda (Amalia Uys) whose heart he wished to win over.
Ben meets her at a bar in Linden, Johannesburg.
They started chatting and when she asks what he does for a living he’s too embarrassed to admit he’s a mechanic and instead lies and says he’s the lead singer of a band.
To cover up his lie, he quickly gets his friends together to start a band - Groenblare - to cover up his lies.
Bouwer chatted to Carla Mackenzie and says one will fall in love and want to pick up a guitar after seeing the movie.
