World Cup-winning Springbok captain Siya Kolisi has become the face of the latest online scam.

A video doing the rounds on social media shows the likeness of Springbok captain Siya Kolisi speaking in a Nigerian accent, which has left many social media users horrified.
In the video, which is believed to have been created using artificial intelligence (AI), "Kolisi" talks about his earnings after investing in a financial scheme.
The video highlights how criminals are cleverly using AI to scam unsuspecting people.
"Kolisi" says he invested R4,400 and has seen great returns by earning R100,000.
"I have no reason to lie. I used this project myself, from which I received additional and high income. I have seen participants earn up to R300,000 after a month," the video states.

While many people in the comments said they would never fall for such a scam, sadly, there are people who are naive and perhaps even desperate enough to fall for such a scam.
