Vin Diesel left fans on the edge of their seats when he announced that Dom and Brian would be reuniting.

After the tragic death of Paul Walker in 2013, the crew from the 'Fast and the Furious' franchise were left devastated and struggled to move forward with the 2015 making of 'Furious 7'.
Which is why many have been left baffled by the recent announcement made by Vin Diesel at FuelFest 2025.
Vin Diesel told fans that when he was asked to do a finale for 'Fast and the Furious', he told the studio that it would only be possible under three conditions.
"The first is to bring the franchise back to LA. The second thing was to return to the car culture and street racing. The third thing was reuniting Dom and Brian O’Connor. That is what you’re going to get in the finale,” reports Vanity Fair.

While many people were excited about the news, some have been on the fence, with many fans and non-fans questioning the return of Paul Walker's character, Brian O'Connor.
Especially after the heartfelt ending of 'Furious 7' that followed his death. It's believed that Walker's brother, Cody, will play the role of O'Connor and bring the franchise to an end with an epic reunion front from Dom and Brian.
What do you think about bringing Paul Walker's character back?
