Driving instructor uses spiky fruit peel to teach drivers
This is an interesting way of teaching the 10 to 2 steering wheel grasp.
If you've been a learner driver, then you know it can be one of the most daunting experiences you've had to go through.
Learning to drive is a huge milestone, but it can be scary when you think about operating a vehicle on the road with other drivers, who aren't always patient or understanding of new drivers.
We all remember being taught the '10 and 2' steering method, gripping the wheel as if it were a clock, with your hands at 10 o'clock and 2 o'clock.
A Chinese driving instructor has got some attention online with his interesting method of teaching learner drivers how to properly hold and turn the steering wheel.
The instructor carefully cut the peel of the durian husk, or jackfruit, as we know it, and secured it to the steering wheel. He positioned it strategically so the learner who was not holding the steering wheel correctly would get poked.
The method is said to have proved effective and has gone viral amongst learner drivers in China.
