Animals have always been known for their resilient approach to finding food.

It's part of their natural instinctive approach and follows the hunter-gatherer mindset. The only difference is that they can take food that doesn't belong to them and not face any legal ramifications.

A herd of elephants were videoed taking full advantage of a truck breakdown. The man who videoed the incident shared how they were hauling oranges on their truck and trailer and had a breakdown.

While trying to fix the truck and change the tyres, the man showed what the elephants were doing.

Check out the video from Instagram below.

The elephants didn't have any issues with grabbing oranges off the trailer. However, it might've been foreign to them, because they are used to picking fruits off trees.

Nevertheless, it didn't stop them from enjoying their mid-morning snack and getting their vitamin C fix.

Social media users chirped in with fun comments. One person said, "If you’re going to put out a buffet, don’t complain when customers arrive."

"It's their land, you must pay the orange tax."

"They’re like, thanks for the food truck. No one ever stops here."

"See how gentle they are, they could topple the load, but they thought if the truck was further damaged, they may not return, so they carefully get some snacks by reaching out with their trunks, what civilised animals they are."
