Get ready for some bad driving as school reopens

If there's one thing about the roads, it's that bad driving will always be around...

Can you imagine a world where everyone respected one another on the roads? It's far-fetched.

Like so many things in life, bad driving is here to stay as long as some people think they are above the laws of the road.

With school reopening comes the return of traffic frustration on the roads. Bad driving is the leading cause of road accidents and traffic congestion.

There are plenty of peeves among motorists, but one has got to be cutting in.

Byron Davel, a content creator who enjoys bringing traffic content to social media, has a special way of scripting things. His entertaining traffic storytelling resonates with many motorists.

He shared his opinion on what should happen to motorists who cut into lanes. As far-fetched as it might sound, we understand the frustration. The motorists who cut should be punished in some way.

One person commented: "Sometimes if I have time, I stop in those spots with my hazards on for a few minutes to purposefully spite these drivers."

"Rivonia Road Rage is Real," another person commented.

Another added: "Glitter bombs! They must become a thing for lane cutters!!"

"Just watching this, I feel the road rage rising inside me… unfortunately, this behaviour has infected Cape Town in a big way too!"

We can expect more of this tomorrow as school traffic returns and motorists do their best to get their kids to school on time.

But we urge you to stay calm and get to your destination safely. Road rage is not worth it.
