The non-perks of using wireless earphones...Getting jacked by a parrot.

In South Africa, we are not unfamiliar with the concept of crime. It is a part of our everyday lives.
But for the most part, we are familiar with crimes that involve actual people, not so much animals. However, the monkeys and baboons do give us a good run for our money. Can you imagine what that may look like to a police officer taking your report of stolen items, let alone the insurance company...
We recently saw a video of a man who shared how a bird stole his cigarette. That was scary, but more so for the bird's health and not so much because he lost something valuable.

A video shared on social media showed how a Chilean reporter found himself in a tricky situation while reporting on crime.
Nicolas Krumm, a journalist for the Chilevision channel, gets 'robbed' of one of his wireless earphones by a parrot. Ironically, Krumm was in the middle of a live report focused on the rise of robberies in a residential area when the parrot landed on his shoulder and flew off with his earphone.
According to BBC, "The cameraman tried to catch the bird to retrieve the earphone, but it flew away. The reporter later said that the parrot dropped the device and he was able to get it back."
