Man's Gulab Jamun bath sparks internet backlash
Updated | By Jacaranda FM / Udesha Moodley-Judhoo
Only an extremist would dare fill a bathtub with an Indian sweet and bathe in it...

What type of content consumer are you? Are you super engaging, taking every opportunity to connect with content creators, or do you lie back and watch how things unfold online and consider yourself an observer?
Of course, in the world of social media, more than two types of people consume content in specific ways. However, seeing how far people will go to get engagement on their accounts is always astonishing.
This time it was an artist named Sid, a graphic designer who pushes the boundaries with his work. He uses AI in his work and even spoke at a festival covering the topic of artificial intelligence in design.
He may be a great designer, but he didn't receive stellar applause when he shared a reel showing a bathtub filled with the Indian sweet, Gulab Jamun.
It did make us wonder if this was AI-generated though...

This must've been a monster of a clean-up session.
People were not impressed by his stunt. One person said, "There’s an entire universe of creative content out there, and you chose this? This is unimaginative and borderline ridiculous."
Another wrote, "Stop disrespecting food even as a joke..."
Stunts like these raise the question: how far would content creators go in the name of viral fame?
