Only in SA: A double storey bicycle
Updated | By Jacaranda FM / Udesha Moodley-Judhoo
This bicycle looks like something that would fit in perfectly in a circus.

It is fantastic to see what some South Africans can produce with so little, especially those who use recycled items to create something that helps them in their daily routines.
South Africans have a way of bringing a certain je ne sais quoi to things that sometimes seem unimportant but stand out in the crowd. We saw people travel through a drive-thru on a horse, some use a seat buckle to create a gate locking mechanism, and so much more.
All of these 'Only in SA' videos come from a place of ingenuity.
This latest innovation, features a man riding through a township on a 'double storey' bicycle made for stilt walkers.
The video shows several clips of a man riding his bicycle, which was engineered to have different storeys. He was able to steer and ride the bike regardless of the level he is on.
Not only did the design look unique and intriguing, but it also displayed the sheer innovation and skill that came from using recycled pieces of metal to construct this form of transportation.
People appreciated his efforts, with one person saying, "He's taking cycling to new heights."
Another person highlighted his skill: "The ingenuity makes me wonder why South Africa has not progressed in the last 30 years...There is no lack of imagination, just opportunity."
