Only in SA: Mobile mechanic works on the move

A mobile mechanic is an excellent service, but let's not compromise safety...

South Africans can make something unusual (or unlawful) seem acceptable.
We are unsure if that is something to be proud of or a trait that causes trouble. Regardless, while it may not be something we encourage, it does add some spice to our lives when consuming entertaining content.
After all, isn't that what makes the best content? The things we don't see daily.
A video that fits the profile got us thinking about the qualities of a daredevil.
In the footage, we see a man, who we assume is a mechanic, working under the hood of an Opel bakkie. Nothing is abnormal about that, except that he did this while the car was moving.
The video shows the man hard at work trying to fix something while the car is moving. What was shocking about it all, besides the fact that the vehicle was moving, was that it looked like there was no driver.
Watch the video below from Instagram.
While the video's poster joked that the man was a mobile mechanic,' his antics were far from safe or lawful.
Some said he was performing a diagnostic test on the vehicle that required it to move. That might be true, but it's always vital to practice safety first.
