Pay attention to your surroundings when locking your car

Being alert when parking in public spaces is a must. Here's another example of what happens when you are not paying attention.

Some motorists still don't practice vigilance when parking in public spots.
Criminals are constantly advancing their theft methods, so car owners must always stay aware and practice caution whenever possible. It is in the most unsuspecting of times that they pounce, and this not only leaves you vulnerable but can also cause anxiety.
Theft and vehicle tampering are not uncommon in South Africa. Remote jamming and criminals unlocking car doors, trickinh car owners to think their doors are locked, is also common.
It is surprising to see how smooth and efficient these criminals are in their execution. A recent video showed how an unsuspecting car owner became a victim of crime when he failed to notice a thief unlock his car door.

The victim exits his car without noticing that the thief has unlocked the passenger side door.
He walks off to the petrol shop, and the thief casually unlocks the car and grabs what resembles a laptop.
