Shocking video shows motorist driving in oncoming lane
Updated | By Jacaranda FM/Udesha Moodley-Judhoo
This is why multitasking while driving is not recommended.

Seeing a taxi driver illegally overtake or drive into oncoming traffic is nothing new, especially if you live in South Africa.
However, this doesn't mean they are the only lawless drivers on the road. We bet more than one person has questioned a driver's ethics and skill before.
The common phrase heard is, "We bet that driver paid to get his licence," insinuating that the driver bribed someone to get his licence.
This time, the saying is, "Seems like you can get your licence out of a lucky pack these days."
A content creator said this after driving on the streets of Cape Town and finding a driver casually stopping at the traffic lights in the oncoming lane.

- "I've driven into oncoming traffic once because of my GPS and was new at driving. These things happen sometimes."
- "And that's just there by the traffic department."
- "This happened to my dad once long before I was born. He was on vacation in South Africa and drove on the right side like this. The fact was, he lived in the US for many years."
- "I just don't understand how. Wow, new fear unlocked bro. Like, aren't you following the cars bru."
- "From his perspective, he's on the right side, but all of us are on the wrong side.
