"There's a rat in my cereal, what am I gonna do..."
Updated | By Jacaranda FM/Udesha Moodley-Judhoo
Imagine finding a rat in your cereal and doing the right thing, only to witness nature in action.

A video that shows the food chain in action has people talking on social media. In the clip, a person named Jamie releases a rat from a cereal packet in their garden.
Despite having only one video on their profile, Jamie's video has over 6 million views.
Most viewers were more focused on what happened after the rat was released than on how it ended up inside the cereal box in the first place.
While some assumed that the rat came sealed in the cereal box, others believed it found its way into the cereal after the box had been left unopened.
Jamie chose to release the rat into the wild, hoping to film what he thought would be an epic moment of freedom.
However, as the rat ran toward the forest, a bird swooped down and snatched it up, turning Jamie’s video into an unexpected, real-life National Geographic moment.
