There's no denying that bedtime can be stressful in some homes, but that's why bedtime routines are important.

With the last week of school holidays, it might be best to get your kids back into their school night routines, or come next week, you might just be holding your head in dismay.

A father who often struggles to get his toddler to bed says his son is "a professional scammer" when it comes to bedtime. Dad, Jeremy, recorded his son, Jordan's, reaction when he told him it was bedtime. Jordan immediately started fussing and negotiating.

"My boy forever causing a fuss at bedtime. The attachment is crazy. He loves his Papa so much this Jordie of mine," he wrote.

"See how he keeps looking around, checking if my cab has arrived or if his mommy will come to take him away. #fc25 menu music on the background and the PS5 controller right next to him. This boy is the scammer of all scammers at bedtime, croc tears as not a drop even hit his cheeks."

Many people fell for Jordie's antics, but Jeremy knew all too well that his modus operandi was to cry to avoid going to bed.

"People in the comment section don’t understand [that] children are EXTREMELY SMART and can be manipulative at times to have their way, and it’s NORMAL. It’s our Job as Parents to know that. That child isn’t afraid of anything. This Father knows his Son. He isn’t giving in. Gentle yet firm."

"Not a tear in sight and yet I'd still crumble."

"So this is a national problem?"
