Watching the weird and wonderful things that South Africans do to earn a living is always inspiring.

After all, we are known for our car guards, traffic light entertainment and eccentric side hustles. There's something special about South Africans who don't let their circumstances determine how their lives turn out.

Local vlogger, Adam Spires, shared his love for the people of South Africa, who are inventive and creative in their approach to unemployment.

In the video, Adam stops at a traffic light and watches three men perform a dance routine using beer crates.

Their synchronicities and ability to entertain people leave him feeling proud. Adam says that, regardless of the high unemployment rate, South Africans can pull a plan together and develop the most innovative hustles.

He also shows a man who put up a small table on the sidewalk selling sweets. "The resilience in South Africa is next level. Through all the nonsense that we face in South Africa, South Africans just have a way of getting through. It is what it is," said Adam.
