He calls himself the "Do Nothing Rent-A-Man"...

When you think about a dream job, the majority of people would say that if they could get paid to do nothing, it would be a dream.
For obvious reasons, it would be a dream come true...
But these kinds of jobs are rare and in all honesty, sound like a scam. Because who would pay anyone to do absolutely nothing, right?
Well, this may come as a surprise but there is a man from Tokyo who calls himself the "Do Nothing Rent-A-Man".
His job basically involves being hired out to do nothing. It depends on what the person booking him requires, but essentially he doesn't do anything in particular.
Shoji Morimoto is 38 and from being unemployed in 2018 he now earns around $71 (R1,200) per booking with his companionship services.

The companionship that he offers extends to all types of people and is a true indicator that people sometimes prefer to engage with a stranger rather than with family or friends.
Other times people engage with the 'Do Nothing Rent-A-Man' because they don't have anyone else.
Everyone needs someone, and that's what he is essentially providing everyone.
