Woman finds a knife inside her food
Updated | By Jacaranda FM/Udesha Moodley-Judhoo
We doubt this was an elaborate assassination attempt – it was more likely just human error.

Finding something that shouldn't be in your food is an experience most of us would rather avoid, but unfortunately, it can happen.
You might think that with people preparing your food, the chances of finding something like a knife hidden in your meal are slim, but anything is possible.
While it’s certainly not the standard, human error is a part of life. After all, we all make mistakes from time to time – it's natural and an inevitable part of being human.

When a customer finds something unexpected in their food, it’s usually a recipe for an unhappy customer. But in this case, it was quite the opposite.
An Australian woman, Emily Bright, travelling in New Zealand, shared her experience of buying a wrap from a small café and discovering a knife hidden inside, disguised as a carrot.
She had to say this on TikTok: "I recently bought a wrap from a small café and discovered a kn*fe inside. Thankfully, I noticed it before any harm occurred. I returned to inform the staff, understanding that accidents happen. I’m grateful I wasn’t injured and that I found it, as someone else might have been hurt. While some might react differently, I believe it’s all about perspective. I would have taken further action if the situation had been more serious, but I’m just thankful and grateful it wasn’t as serious."
