This one is something for the flower lovers. Try the toilet flower trend that requires you to arrange your fresh flowers in the back of your toilet.

People have evolved in their toilet decorum, and we are not talking about their toilet routines but rather the actual decor we see inside the bathroom.

Traditionally, doilies were the most fashionable accessories in a home, including the toilet. Over the years, however, we have seen many changes in interior design; some prioritised modernity, efficiency, and design, while others focused on cleanliness and smell.

It isn't unusual to see plants and flowers inside the bathroom. They add a particular luxury to bathrooms and can also help create a pleasant aroma. However, it seems people have taken things a step further and, instead of adding a potted plant or vase of flowers inside their bathroom, they have taken a practical approach.

Styling their flowers inside their toilet tank is the newest trend in bathroom decor.

In a video shared on Instagram, we see a woman share a home improvement idea. She arranges flowers inside her guest toilet cistern or tank during spring and summer.

The woman prepares a beautiful flower arrangement, adds flower food, and boasts that her flowers get fresh water during each flush. That sounds unorthodox, unsanitary and unusual, but at least your toilet will smell fresh.

House Beautiful shared how plumbers advised against this trend.

"From an owner of a plumbing company, DO NOT do this," one commented. "Unless, of course, you are looking for more opportunities to support your local plumber."
