Do you cut in front of people in traffic?

Do you cut in front of people in traffic?

If someone doesn't give you a gap in traffic, do you just take it?

Driving in traffic can most definitely be cumbersome and if we could, we would do everything possible to avoid it.

But it is that inevitable part of life that we have to learn to live with. Most of the time, motorists find a manageable or acceptable way around it.

However, it doesn't make it any easier, especially when you are surrounded by other motorists who don't always follow the rules of the road.

Sometimes it's not even about the official road rules, but just being mindful of other drivers.

Because not all people have good days, and getting stuck in traffic can add to that stress.

One thing we don't approve of is cutting in front of people in traffic. Now, of course, you are totally allowed to change lanes, but it's the manner that this happens that needs due attention.

But when in traffic, there needs to be a level of understanding between motorists - those who are switching lanes and those who are on the receiving lanes.

Being in traffic is the perfect opportunity to make someone's day. Come on, pay it forward and give them a way in.

And to the cutters, say thank you.
