The 'Bad Blood' hitmaker raked in R2.5-billion ($185-million). She was followed closely by Kylie Jenner with R2.3-billion ($170-million) and Jenner's brother-in-law, Kanye West, who secured the third spot on the list with R2-billion ($150-million).

Swift's R2.5-billion mainly comes from her highly successful 'Reputation' stadium tour. It was named the highest-grossing tour in the USA.

In June, Swift enlisted a slate of celebrity friends and frenemies for the music video for her latest single, ‘You Need To Calm Down’. The guest-filled video features long-term frenemy Katy Perry, TV-hosts Ellen DeGeneres and Ru Paul, the guys from Queer Eye, her new bestie Adam Lambert, and actor Ryan Reynolds.

'Keeping Up With The Kardashians' reality star and businesswoman Kylie Jenner's financial success is mainly attributed to her cosmetics business.

Ed Sheeran ($110-million) also secured a spot in the top five of the Forbes list, while football player Lionel Messi came in fourth place, raking in $127-million.
