Alex Jay chatted to the legendary director Danny Boyle about 'Pistol', which is currently streaming on Disney+.
In May, Disney+ unveiled the trailer and key art for the highly-anticipated limited series, 'Pistol'.
Sex Pistols were an English punk rock band that was formed in London in 1975. Although their initial career lasted just two and a half years, they are one of the most groundbreaking acts in the history of popular music.
The band originally comprised of vocalist John Lydon (stage name 'Johnny Rotten'), guitarist Steve Jones, drummer Paul Cook, and bassist Glen Matlock, who was replaced by Sid Vicious in early 1977.
Based on Steve Jones’ 2017 memoir, 'Lonely Boy: Tales From A Sex Pistol', 'Pistol' was created and written by Craig Pearce and executive produced and directed by Danny Boyle.
'Pistol' is a six-episode limited series about a rock and roll revolution.
