Everyone loves a good life hack, whether it helps you save money, time or simply makes everyday tasks a little easier.
Life hacks give us a sense of accomplishment that doesn't require spending money. All it takes is a little out-of-the-box thinking to make us feel like we're winning at life.
We found a few life hacks that can make everyday life a little easier.
1. Removing gum from clothing
This is an oldie but a goodie. If you get gum stuck on your clothing, you can easily remove it by placing an ice cube on it. The ice hardens the gum making it easy to remove.

2. How to insert a screw
The emergence of DIYers is not just gaining traction but is also inspirational. This is why you should know this hack. When inserting a screw, first turn it so the head is facing the wood. Slightly drill it into the wood this way, then flip it around and insert the screw.
This will allow you to get a flush finish where the screw is not protruding from the wood.
3. Draining pasta with a toothpick
Draining pasta can be tricky, as seen in the video below.
By placing a toothpick between the pot and the lid, the water will drain out, and you won't have to pick up pasta from the sink.

4. Reusing plastic bottles
When you cut a plastic bottle in half, you can store small clothing items such as face towels or baby clothes when travelling. This helps your clothes stay wrinkle-free.
5. Paper towel hanger
Repurpose a hanger into a convenient paper towel hanger by cutting off the bottom piece. Not only does this help when you are camping or during a beach outing, but it also helps repurpose old hangers.
