A key reason to always keep your passport away from the kids

Moms, you've got to love a special surprise from your kids now and then, but not quite inside your passport.

As the dust on Mother's Day celebrations settles, one mom learned the hard way that keeping your password away from children should be top priority.

Nothing beats a handcrafted Mother's Day card. In the days leading up to the special occasion, kids often spend hours showing off their creativity, eager to present something heartfelt for mom.

Usually, all it takes is a piece of craft paper to get the ideas flowing. But one child decide to skip the craft supplies and expressed their creativity directly in their mother's passport instead.

Now that's what we call a permanent Mother's Day memory.

A video that reminded us that mothers worldwide must deal with the most unexpected things daily, also made us laugh. We doubt the woman who shared the video found it amusing at first, but the fact that she even recorded it shows she approaches motherhood with a sense of humour

Because, honestly, is there any other way?

In the video, we see a woman paging through her passport, which isn't filled with entry and exit stamps from different countries, but something even more unique.

Each page is covered with drawings. One page has a drawing of a little girl, another has a special message saying, "I love Mom" with a heart and another page has a game of X and O's.

The woman showed off her travel luggage, and it was apparent she was at the airport, but how she planned to get through passport control is anyone's guess.

One social media user commented on the video saying: "This is why our parents hide our social security cards, passports, and birth certificates until we are 18, or some are even older!"

Another person said, "This is why we grew up with passports & papers being hidden under seven mattresses in a bag in a locked suitcase!"

"A child did this to mine before. They drew hair on my hair. A lady in Jamaica at the airport asked me, “What happened, you wanted more hair?”
