A story about pushing past your failures and rising above them...

A 20-year-old story that has recently resurfaced online teaches us about the meaning of dedication and perseverance.
Cha Sa-Soon is a Korean mother who showed the world what it means to dust yourself off and try again. Her story went viral after it was revealed that it took her 960 times to pass her driver's test.
She first attempted her written driver's test in April 2005. After failing, she retook it five days a week for three years.
"After that, her pace slowed to about twice a week. But she never quit, and after 860 written tests, she passed. The next step was to pass the practical test, which was more difficult," reported NDTV.
When she finally got her driver's licence, it was five years later and she was 69 years old.
Her resilience and dedication not only left her with pride but were also celebrated by others. Her driving instructor said told the news station: "When she finally got her licence, we all went out in cheers and hugged her, giving her flowers. It felt like a huge burden falling off our backs. We didn't have the guts to tell her to quit because she kept showing up."
This proves that when you believe in yourself so much that you are willing to push past the failures, you can achieve anything your heart desires.
There's more, though. Cha Sa-soon's story attracted much attention in her country, which led to her receiving a new vehicle from Hyundai.

Cha Sa-Soon is said to have spent around £11,000 (R261,808.80) to get her driver's licence.
That's a lot of pretty pennies, but the feeling of triumph was surely all worth it...
