Mom gets shamed online for allowing daughter to wear makeup

Kids should be kids. Does allowing them to do grown-up stuff make them lose out on their time as kids?

Isn't life funny? When you're a child, all you want to do is grow up; when you're grown up, you yearn for your childhood.
It's one reason we see so many kids doing grown-up stuff. It is not ideal because before you know it, you see these children living through the things that would've come in time.
A mother who allows her grade one daughter to apply makeup has seen the sharp end of people's tongues on social media. This was after she shared a video on social media of her daughter applying makeup at her dressing table.

The mom didn't hold back her feelings and shared a little about her relationship with her daughter. She shared her challenges with getting pregnant with her second son and then her daughter, Evie.
"I thought I was done just with my two sons, and I was perfectly fine with that. Then along came Evie, my girl, so you better believe I will let her be happy and girly and put on her heels, boots, dresses, nails, and makeup all she wants," said the mom.
A mother's love is like no other, and raising a child can be tricky. While it's always easier to share our thoughts and feelings on how others are parenting their kids, perhaps we should appreciate that she is doing the best she can with the knowledge at her disposal.
