One of SA's favourite milkshake mixes is back!
It was a sad day for Nesquik lovers when the brand was discontinued. But did it ever really leave?
It was a sad day for many South Africans when the iconic flavoured drink Nesquik was discontinued in 2023.
However, demand for the nostalgic drink kept it on the shelves a while longer, but some retailers began selling it at three times the normal price.
While things have slowed down since then, it seems this iconic childhood drink is has made a comeback.
Content creator, Brenden Roberts, shared a video after he spotted Nesquik tubs at the Dis-Chem store in Centurion, Gauteng.

Like many of his followers, Brenden was surprised to see the brand back on the shelves, although we're not sure it ever really left.
Worried that the tubs would fly off the shelves, now that he let the cat out the bag, Brandon helped himself to a 300g tub of Nesquik which was selling for R119.99.

While many of his followers were eager to get their hands on a tub, not everyone shared the same excitement.
People were shocked to learn the price of this well-known brand and one shopper claimed it tasted different when they bought their own tub.
Another wrote, "I need the cream soda to heal my inner child."
