The quickest way to make 20 cups of tea in the office
Updated | By The Workzone with Elana Afrika-Bredenkamp/Udesha Moodley-Judhoo
A fun approach to making a mediocre and sometimes hated task in the office...Tea time.

Traditionally, many offices had a tea lady whose primary task was to make tea for everyone.
While that tradition may have faded over the years, it was a pro for many who enjoyed having it as part of their office culture. The tea lady knew how everyone enjoyed their tea. Now, people are responsible for making their own cups of tea.
Tea also has a whole new meaning. 'Spill the tea' and 'Gimme the tea' now insinuate sharing the news or gossip. It's nothing new, but thinking back to the time of the 'tea lady', this might also have been part of her purview, considering she knew everyone in the office.
A video shared on social media had us laughing out loud at how people have migrated to making things easier in life.
Tea time isn't just something that people in the office enjoy; in many families, some people go to make one cup of tea and end up making tea for the entire household. As a way of saving, many grannies would reduce the teabags used when making tea for a large group and steep it for longer, trying to extract the flavour, resulting in a close to strong cup of tea.
Some households still practice this to save on teabags.
The video in question indicated how we live amongst a generation of people who want to find the easiest method of doing things. We admit it was most likely made for fun, but here's to us reading between the lines of this generation.

The video shows a person dropping teabags and hot water into a wash basin. Then they proceed to add milk to it and mix it up. It looks less than desirable, and many people question the hygiene standards of making tea this way...
In the end, it was all just for laughs. What's the most cringeworthy thing you've seen someone at the office do to make their life easier?
