Son tells mom to chill at his awards ceremony

A mother had TikTok users in stitches when she shared a proud moment online. In the video, Aquilla Frost filmed her son as he walked up to receive an award at school.

When his name was called, the young man strode confidently to the stage, and Frost immediately started cheering for him.

Completely unbothered by the other spectators around her, she cheered with all the enthusiasm of a proud, extroverted mom.

But what happened next left everyone laughing. As her son reached the stage, he turned to her and, with a casual wave of his hand, told her to "chill".

It was a bold move, considering most moms would take offence to being told to relax in the middle of a proud moment. But Frost couldn’t help but laugh out loud, taking the playful gesture in stride.
