It's mid-month, and we know that sometimes means you are keeping your pennies safe ahead of month-end.

But planning something fun for the kids should always be factored into your weekends. We came across a lovely place called Play Town for the kids.

Situated on 144 Edward Ave, Hennops Park, Centurion, Play Town focuses on pretend play. Kids can enjoy ten themed playrooms, which are surrounded by a decorated track that mimics a roadway, here kids can ride their bikes.

"There’s an 'outdoor area' (still indoors) geared with a tent, rock climbing and boys-only/girls-only treehouses as well as dress-up clothes.

A huge pirate-ship-shaped jungle gym is also equipped with slides, air cannons, obstacle courses and a ball pit. Another energy releaser is the 250 m2 trampolines, which are categorised for different ages to give everyone a chance to have fun jumping.

For the tiny tots, there is a separate, contained jumping castle and play area filled with soft toys, ball pits, and swings," according to What's On Joburg.

There's also an on-site restaurant.
