Things to do in Gauteng: Life Fest coming to Benoni
The LIFE Fest is going to be in Benoni on 28 June and promises to the ultimate family event with live music, great food and cultural diversity.
Just a day after school's out, you get to experience an epic family day out at the LIFE Fest Benoni.
LIFE Fest Benoni is on 28 June, and while the early bird tickets are sold out, there are still tickets available for what is being called 'the live integrated family experience'.
According to the What's On Joburg website, the festival promises something for everyone, including kids, parents, and music lovers.
"The crew is planning a vibrant day out with food stalls, family zones, and all-day entertainment. The live music lineup features Matthew Mole, Majozi, Desmond & The Tutus and leading DJS, and feel the energy build as the Springboks take on the Barbarians, broadcast live on a giant outdoor screen. The sound at the festival will be electric, with artists like Matthew Mole, Desmond & the Tutus, and Tamara Dey.
"CINIMIN brings high-energy house with a polished, cosmopolitan edge.
Chrizz Beatz, sleek and stylish, fuses deep electronic beats with club anthems. Juran, with a soulful voice and rich R&B layers, will slow things down. Josh Hincks adds indie warmth, while Efact unleashes experimental soundscapes, sharp and unfiltered. From start to finish, expect a sonic journey that’s bold and vibey." (What's On Joburg)
Moreover, there will be food and fun activities for the kids. There will be a range of food stalls and trucks, from Thai to shawarma, burgers and boerie rolls, fried chicken, and several sweet options for dessert lovers.
There will be inflatable soccer, thrilling rides, obstacle courses, a bungee trampoline, and a 6-seater parachute rocket for the kids. Snap selfies and make new memories in the photo booth.
Standard General Access tickets cost R250pp. VIP Access includes free parking, express VIP entry, and seating at R400pp.
