Toddler blames monkey for lipstick-messed bathroom

Mom, it was the monkeys...

As a parent, you need to wear many hats, one of which is that of Sherlock Holmes, making you an honorary detective.
Prabashini Moodley, a Johannesburg mother and journalist, shared a video that most parents can relate to. She showed what happens when your toddler gets hold of your makeup and has alone time in your bathroom.
Let's say this is one of the key reasons why parents shouldn't have a white bathroom.
In the video, we see stains of pink all over the toilet seat, the bathroom basin, and the white carpet. It looks like a crime scene that needs a forensics team.

Mom begins her questioning with the number one suspect, her toddler. Her toddler was the picture of calm and played it cool throughout the interrogation.
At first, she blamed her classmate, Lika, saying Lika's dad saw him doing it in his mom's bathroom. At this point, we are unsure whether she meant he did it in his mother's bathroom, which is why she did it, or if she was mixing up her words.
Mom didn't stop there. She persisted until her toddler changed her story and blamed "the monkey". As unbelievable as that was, Mom chose to pull back and let the monkey take the wrap.
While the journalist in mom could've broken the lead suspect here, the mom in her took over, and she let her child off the hook.
