WATCH: Pretoria students' toilet mobile causes a stir

Can you imagine seeing a vehicle that has toilets as seats? Well, it exists and was moving around the streets of Pretoria.

Pretoria students took the opportunity to create a lighthearted situation when they brought a blast from the past onto the streets of Hatfield.

The Sonop Tuks, students from the University of Pretoria, proudly wore their uniforms as they drove around in the old-school Volkswagen Kombi from the 1980s movie Kiepies and Kandas

A video shared on social media shows a few students inside the one-of-a-kind kombi. The kombi is not what we would typically expect from a vehicle, but it screams for attention with its toilet seats.

"After many years, Kandas (Ryno Hattingh) literally runs into his primary school sweetheart, Kiepie (Debbie Labuschagne), on the university campus. Immediately, the spark between them is back! However, Kiepie is engaged to a bright young lawyer (Mieder Olivier), who drags Kandas to court over an accident," according to Letterboxd.

The classic Volkswagen Kombi is roofless and has toilet seats for the passengers, which adds some character to the vehicle and makes it a conversation starter.

These students got into full character by making themselves comfortable on the toilet seats while driving through the streets of Hatfield. Two students were seated at the back, with their trousers down to their ankles, each reading a newspaper.
