Girl (6) gives up birthday party to feed the homeless
Updated | By Poelano Malema

Most five-year-olds would not give up a birthday party for anything- especially not to feed the less fortunate.
But Armani Crews from Chicago is no ordinary child. One of the things close to her heart is taking care of the needy.
The five-year-old chose to turn down her sixth birthday party in order to feed the homeless.
Her mother, Artesha Crews, told ABC News she thought her daughter was joking.
"I said, 'OK, we'll make some sandwiches,' to which Armani said, 'No. I want the same thing we'd have at my birthday party,'" she told the publication.
She said even after she told Armani this would mean no birthday presents, she did not change her mind.
So her wish was granted and the family bought chicken, fish, spaghetti, corn, green beans, mashed potatoes, rolls, cake, cookies, fruit, water and fed over 100 homeless people in East Garfield Park neighborhood.
They also included a care package which consisted of a toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant, hand sanitizer and a snack.
How amazing?!
