A young girl came seconds away from being mauled by a tiger after it pounced on her in a market.

A video has surface of a five-year-old walking near a tiger when it suddenly turned and pounced at the crowd.
The girl can be seen being pinned to the ground before the owner managers to free the child.
Once the video started to trend people took to social media ti condemned the obvious lack of security and safety procedures at the event.
One said: ‘Even if the tiger is tamed, this was a dangerous situation that could have been fatal for the young girl or other spectators.’
Another said: ‘This is a wild animal and its instinct is to attack, so regardless of the time spent taming it, its nature never changes and its killing-readiness remains strong.
‘All the necessary measures should be taken to ensure the highest levels of safety. Unfortunately, some people today look at keeping wild animals as a harmless fashion.’
