Horror as irate crocodile clamps down on Thai man's arm
Updated | By The Workzone with Barney Simon
A man in Thailand was demonstrating his skills with crocodiles when one of the beasts had enough and acted out.
Visitors to a crocodile farm and zoo in Phokkathara, Thailand were horrified to witness one of the animal wranglers very nearly lose his arm to a crocodile.
The man, known as Tao, was speaking to the audience as he reached his left arm further and further down the throat of a crocodile whose mouth was agape. Just as the man's shoulder reaches the front of the animal's mouth, the reptile clamped down on Tao's arm.
In the blink of an eye, Tao found himself having to struggle to get himself free from the crocodile's jaws.

Incredibly, he manages to get his arm out and the crocodile does not charge after him. An eyewitness says that the show had been going well up until the moment Tao put his arm inside the crocodile's mouth: "I've watched the clip back many times to see how it happened and the crocodile seems to not like having the hand in his mouth."
That seems like an obvious conclusion: of course, a wild animal doesn't like to have its personal space invaded. One has to wonder what Tao thought would happen?
Staff from the zoo say that crocodiles rarely bite the handlers. Tao is expected back at work within the next two weeks.
