It's every rat for himself in this New York subway
Updated | By The Workzone with Barney Simon
Someone looking to take a train in New York couldn't help but stare as two rats fought over a slice of pizza.

Commuters who take buses and trains on a daily basis are accustomed to meeting strange scenes on their trip. Hobos are not given a second look, buskers are around every corner, and the various other sights and smells unique to the public transport route are accepted as normal.
So when one commuter in New York noticed two rats scurrying past with some food, they probably would not have paid much attention to the scene. Except something was different about these rats: they were fighting against each other to see which one of them would finally win the snack.
The two rats were spotted at the Grand Central-42nd Street station in Manhattan having "a little tug of war over the cheesy treat". One of them eventually gives up, but not before he gets at least one bite of cheese.

In that moment the two rats embodied the fighting spirit of anyone living and working in the Big Apple. And it's not the first time that rats have been caught in interesting situations involving pizza.
Is the pizza in New York really that good?
