Pics: puppy with teething issues gets braces
Updated | By Boniswa Khumalo
Brace-face: an adorable six-month-old puppy with teething problems has taken the internet by storm - with his braces. Bless.

Molly Moore from Michigan in the US - owner of the adorable golden retriever, Wesley - noticed that he could not close his mouth because he was not teething correctly.
Buzzfeed reports that Moore noticed that Wesley was getting progressively less active because he'd stopped playing with his toys and wasn't eating as regularly as he should.
So Molly's father, Jim Moore, who is an expert in veterinary dentistry suggested that Wesley gets dog braces. The braces will allow Wesley's teeth to fit comfortably in his mouth.
The American Veterinary Dental College classifies Wesley's condition as malocclusions. Dogs with dental problems don't often get braces and Wesley’s procedure was rare. Dog braces are the most pain free long-term solution for dogs with Wesley’s condition.
These braces will help Wesley get back to his happy puppy life as he only has to wear the braces for a few weeks.

Wesley was placed under anesthetic when his new braces were fitted into his mouth. The procedure was done carefully to ensure that the dog does not experience any discomfort.
How adorable is he though?
