Plastic surgery is when you restore, reconstruct or alter a part of your body you might be unhappy with for various reasons. It could be reconstructive or cosmetic. People have different reasons why they desire going under the knife.

We met our third finalist, who is in desperate need of an otoplasty procedure.
Marischa is still being bullied because her ears are 'different'.
"I'm not only being bullied by outsiders but my family also makes fun of me. We are supposed to feel pretty and confident - and I crave that."
She entered the Sandton Surgeon competition with the hope of getting the surgery she has been craving for years.
