A second tremor hit parts of Cape Town on Sunday morning and Capetonians had hilarious responses to the occurrences!
This follows a 6.2 magnitude earthquake that was recorded off the coast of Cape Town on Saturday night.
According to Jacaranda FM News, the executive manager of Applied Geosciences at the Council for Geosciences, Dr David Khoza, says a second tremor was recorded on Sunday morning.
“Later on, this morning we recorded another event which is a smaller magnitude at around 2.3 and occurred at North Durbanville in the Western Cape”.
Khoza added that people should not fear the possibilities of higher magnitude tremors.
No one reported any damage and according to Dr. Khoza there is no call for concern.
