A fifth woman's body has been discovered in a bush on a sugar cane plantation in Mtwalume on KwaZulu Natal’ssouth coast.

It's the fifth body to be found in the area since April and has raised fears a serial killer might be on the loose.
The discovery comes a day after a passerby came across the decomposed body of a woman in the area on Tuesday.
According to JacaNews, A woman was found stabbed to death in a sugarcane field in the area in June.

Two months earlier, the bodies of two sisters aged 16 and 25 were discovered there, after the pair were reported missing in March.
Breakfast with Martin Bester chatted to investigative Forensic Psychologist, Professor Gérard Labuschagne.
Professor Labuschagne said that the police would want to act sooner, rather than later.
According to Professor Labuschagne, “When the police release information about the case, strategic reasons or informative, you have to be careful what you release. You have to be considerate to what your suspect is going to hear. If you give away too much information.”
