Francois van Coke's hero, Arno Carstens, surprises him on his 40th birthday
Arno Carstens surprised Francois van Coke on his birthday!
The global pandemic has forced this year’s Francois van Coke & Vriende concert online and it will be streamed live from Cape Town on the 18th of September at 8pm SAST.
Francois explains: “This show has become a yearly highlight for us, and we won’t let the pandemic stop us. I turn 40 on 18 September and I can’t think of a better way to celebrate my birthday than sharing a stage with my friends and to do what I love most.”
Since the first Francois van Coke & Vriende concert kicked off in 2018 at Sun Arena in Pretoria, it quickly became a highlight of the year, with it selling out every year. Last year, just under 10,000 people attended the concert. COVID-19 is not going to stop it this year.
