A video shared on social media shows a man allegedly switching off the electricity for loadshedding.

An Eskom power plant worker recently shared a video on his TikTok account showing a man allegedly switching off the electricity during loadshedding.

The video took Mzansi by storm and has garnered over 3.6-million views with 125,000 comments.
The man who goes by the username @mandisidyantyi shared the video of another man at work at an unknown location in Rustenburg.
He captioned the video saying: ‘’Load shedding stage 4 operating 11 000 volts without an arc flash suit, this is asking for trouble. It has become a norm to commit unsafe acts in the work place.’’

The video has now gone viral, with many being shocked by how loadshedding is implemented.
