How Liesl Laurie met the love of her life
It has been two weeks since Dr Musa Mtombeni asked the big question.
Liesl Laurie got whisked off to Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, thinking she was going to have a quiet and isolated time away with her boyfriend. What Liesl didn’t know was that a helicopter was waiting to take them to a picturesque mountain top and that she was moments away from being asked the big question, "Will you marry me?".
Liesl’s partner pulled out all the stops for the big proposal. But, how did they meet?

Listen to Liesl Laurie explaining how they met. Her fiancé said it started in the Instagram DM’s when a friend posted a photo of Liesl Laurie on their ‘Instastories’.
Dr Mtombeni explains: "One year ago on this day, the 2nd of July, my dear friend Dr. Khanyile posted a picture of @liesllaurie on her IG stories. I commented on this story with a “😍” and sent Dr. Khanyile a voice note highlighting my utter excitement for this post. Within the hour I sent Liesl Laurie a sweet innocent message and as they say….. the rest is history. Since that day I’ve spoken to her everyday, throughout the day. The love of my life and future wife."
